Bad Blood (Looking for Family Members)

Big family, big problems. haha.

General idea - The one daughter Impresses a Scarlet dragon and most of the family is not happy about it. She is pretty much considered a bad influence on the younger children and her parents refuse to see her again. They are quite happy to see her leave for White Lightning Weyr.

The siblings are caught up in the middle. Though some want to support their sister, they are afraid to openly disobey their very demanding and traditionally minded father.

I'll strikethrough the ones who are taken. I left them here so people could get a better idea of the family dynamics.




A very Traditional sort of man. He was searched from a minor Hold. Within a sevenday of arriving at the Weyr he Impressed Senrieth. He believes that there is something wrong with those mutant colored dragons and was in full support of "exiling" them to another Weyr. He figures they got along just fine without them. He isn't someone who changes his mind easily. Set in his ways, stubborn and completely against change in general.  

The disease came to the Weyr and despite trying everything he could think to do to save Senrieth, the blue died. K'brien was taken Between by his son Sh'lor. -- (PB Gerard Butler)


Searched from a cothold but never Impressed. Became Weyrmated to K'brien at 23 turns old. She does anything he asks without question and always aligns her opinions with his.

With him gone, she is kin of at a loss of what to do, where to go etc. Sh'lor and Brielody bring her to White Lightening Weyr with them as there is nothing left for her at Eastern.  -- (PB Julianne Moore)

The eldest child. She is a bit like her father, stubborn, set in her ways.. She hates children after having to spend so much time raising her siblings growing up. She's serious, dedicated and an excellent wingmate. However she tends to put work first and family way down the list of her priorities. She takes a long time to anger but when she does, you should probably get out of her way. ((PB- Amy Adams))

The first born son, he has a lot on his shoulders growing up. In addition to helping with the younger boys, he had to earn his father's respect. He didn't go into a craft because he was expected to become a dragonrider. He can sometimes be a little resentful of his younger siblings. He doesn't take anything for granted. He is a hard working, strong man, with a will to match. He hopes to be Wingsecond someday. With such high ambitions, he knows comes responsibility. He sides with his father on the mutant issue, if only to remain the Golden son. The best of all the children.  - ((PB - Torrence Coombs))

The often forgotten middle child. Kyabree is a firecracker. She does what she wants, when she wants. Says the truth even and probably most especially when other people don't want to hear it. After Impressing Scarlet, she was pretty much disowned. Kyabree doesn't speak to her family now but wishes she could. After all, you only have one. She is highly emotional and tends to be led through life by these emotions. But she is also very brave and strong. She loves her Scarlet no matter what people might say about mutated dragons and can grow very hostile on the subject. ((PB Emma Stone))



He is kind, sweet, generous. He loves his younger siblings. Likes games and tends to take life as it is and turn it into something better. Optimistic and loving, he cherishes all of his family. He is more open minded than some of the other members of the family and doesn't see mutated dragons as something to be feared.  (( PB - Rupert Grint))



He wants to be just like his eldest brother only better. So the ambitious kid has every intention of Impressing something better than brown. *coughs* But only Bronze will do of course. He HATES mutants because he has been taught to do so. He has no trouble tattle telling on his siblings. Will do anything to just get a little bit of attention. ((PB- Logan Lerman ))




Shy, Stubborn, detail oriented and smart, she tends to put her focus into her studies and not the family drama. That said, secretly she is so excited about mutations she can hadly stand it. She fully intends to study genetics in dragons more closely when she knows more. - (( PB- Bonnie Wright))



Dee is kind of a dreamer. She isn't really bothered by anything. She is rather wise for her age. She isn't sure what she wants to do with her life and is considering a craft like Kalabria but she doesn't think dragon healing is her calling. She feels like she will know what she wants when she sees it. Not one to over think things, tends to go with the flow. She is very easy to confide in and has excellent people skills. She loves her entire family, including Kyabree and wants them all to be back on the same side again.

With the death of her father and his blue, she has been her mother's main support. When the last Golden Queen dies, she and her mother leave for White Lightening Weyr with Brielody & Sh'lor. - ((PB -Georgie Henley))
